Ukugqashula Amaketango Ekilasi Nobumpofu
Lapho abantwana bakwa-Israyeli bekhala befuna inkosi, uNkulunkulu wabanika ababekucela—kodwa wabaxwayisa nangezindleko. USamuweli wathi: “Yilokhu inkosi eyobusa phezu kwenu eyothi njengamalungelo ayo: Iyothatha amadodana enu iwenze asebenze ngezinqola zayo . . .
U-Israyeli wayecabanga ukuthi inkosi yayiyoletha ukulondeka, kodwa uNkulunkulu wayeziqonda izindleko zezinhlelo zabantu. Abazange bamlahle uSamuweli; balahla uNkulunkulu uqobo Lwakhe (1 Samuweli 8:7).
Kusukela ngaleso sikhathi, u-Israyeli wangena ohlelweni lwesigaba lwamalungelo nobugqila. Amadodana ezicukuthwane azuza njengefa amandla nengcebo, hhayi ngoba ehlakaniphile, kodwa ngenxa yokuthi azalelwa inzuzo. Izinceku, nakuba ngokuvamile zazihlakaniphe futhi zinekhono, zahlala zigqilazwe ukuze zisekele ifa lomunye umuntu.
Kodwa uNkulunkulu akazange abadale abantu ukuba baphile ezikhundleni ezinjalo. Umklamo wakhe wasekuqaleni wawulingana ngaphansi kobuholi Bakhe. Kamuva, umphostoli uPawulu wamemezela, “akekho umJuda noma oweZizwe, akakho isigqila noma okhululekile, akakho owesilisa nowesifazane, ngoba nonke nimunye kuKristu Jesu” ( Galathiya 3:28 ). Izimiso zokungalingani zazingewona umklamo wezulu; babeyindalo yomuntu.
Abanye bazalwa bempofu, kodwa uNkulunkulu akazange abanqumele ukuba bahlale benjalo. UJesu ngokwakhe wathi, “Ngoba kukhona abathenwa abazalwa benjalo, futhi kukhona abathenwa abaye bathenwa ngabanye—futhi kukhona abakhethayo…” (Mathewu 19:12). Ngendlela efanayo, abanye bazalelwa engcebweni, abanye bacetshiswa ngabanye, kodwa bonke kufanele bakhethe indlela yokuphila.
IBhayibheli lithi, “Ubuthongo obuncane, ukozela okuncane, ukusonga izandla kancane ukuze uphumule—ubumpofu buyokwehlela njengesela” ( IzAga 24:33–34 ) Ubumpofu abulona ubuzibulo; ngokuvamile kuwumphumela wokukhetha, izimo, kanye nezinhlelo. Akekho ozalwa empofu. Akekho ozalelwa ukuba abe yinceku kuze kube phakade. Ubumpofu yisimo—kodwa ukuchuma kuwuhlelo lwaphezulu.
UNkulunkulu wathi, “Ngokuba ngiyawazi amacebo enginawo ngani… amacebo okunephumelelisa hhayi okunilimaza, amacebo okuninika ithemba nekusasa” (Jeremiya 29:11). U-Israyeli waba izigqila eGibhithe, hhayi ngoba lokho kwakuyisu likaNkulunkulu, kodwa ngenxa yezimo awela kuzo. Nokho uNkulunkulu wathumela uMose ukuba abakhulule. Lapho uNkulunkulu ekhetha wena, akahlosile ukuba uhlale ebugqilini noma ebumpofu.
Izinhlelo zekilasi aziwona umlando wasendulo; zisekhona nanamuhla. Ezizweni eziningi zase-Afrika, u-5% wabantu bangabanikazi bomhlaba omningi, kanti iningi lidonsa kanzima ebuphofini. Ukuba nemoto noma isinkwa sosuku akuyona ingcebo. Ingcebo yeqiniso iwukulawula—ukulawula umhlaba, izinsiza, nesiphetho. Umbuzo uthi: Ubani olawula umnotho wakho? Ubani olawula ikusasa lakho?
UNkulunkulu wayengahlosile ukuba umuntu oyedwa alawule abanye. Wanikeza wonke umuntu ikhono lokwakha, lokubusa, nokuchuma. UMose akazange avumele isimiso saseGibhithe simvimbe ekukhululeni abantu bakaNkulunkulu. UDavide, nakuba enganakiwe endlini kayise, wasuka ekubeni ngumalusi waba yinkosi ngoba uNkulunkulu wayemkhethile.
Isimo sakho sokuzalwa asinqumi ikusasa lakho. Okunquma isiphetho sakho yilokho uNkulunkulu akukhuluma ngawe ungakabunjwa esizalweni sikanyoko (Jeremiya 1:5). Kungenzeka ukuthi wazalwa uncishwe amathuba, kodwa usenesinqumo esisodwa kude noguquko. Leso sinqumo siwukuthembela kuNkulunkulu nokulwela isiphetho.
Unganeliseki ngobumpofu. Unganeliseki ngobugqila. UNkulunkulu ukubizele phezulu. Isu lakhe ngelokuchuma, hhayi ukugqilazwa.
